The production of sunflower oil involves extracting oil from cleaned and dehulled sunflower seeds, which are then mechanically pressed. The extracted oil may undergo additional refining processes such as degumming, neutralization, bleaching, and deodorization to produce refined sunflower oil, known for its light color and subtle flavor.
