There are two main types of cardamom, each with its own distinct flavor and aroma, adding unique depth to your culinary creations.

I) Green Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum): This is the most common type of cardamom and is native to India and Southeast Asia. Green cardamom pods are small and light to dark green in color.

II) Black Cardamom (Amomum subulatum): Black cardamom is native to the eastern Himalayas and is also found in parts of China and Nepal.
