The country’s wheat cultivation is primarily concentrated in the northern and central regions, where favorable climatic conditions and fertile soil support high yields. The top wheat-producing states include Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, and Gujarat, which together contribute a major share of India’s total wheat output.
